The Spark: Wick.ed Aromas was born from a shared passion for crafting fragrances that captivate the senses. Mahlon Gatneau, a Brooklyn native, and Shannon Ryan, hailing from the small town of Bombay, New York, started this journey with just a $40 Amazon candle-making kit. What began as a simple hobby quickly grew into an all-consuming passion.

May 2023: LeMoyne College Graduates Turned Entrepreneurs

Balancing Act: With degrees from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY, Mahlon and Shannon found themselves juggling full-time jobs while pursuing their dream of building a fragrance company. Their drive and dedication became the foundation of Wick.ed Aromas.

August 2023: Crafting the First Candles

From Garage to Greatness: In a modest garage studio, Mahlon and Shannon began handcrafting their first candles. They focused on using 100% organic soy wax and non-toxic fragrances, ensuring a clean and eco-conscious burn. Each candle was a labor of love, blending their own exclusive fragrances to create true olfactory masterpieces.

May 2024: Debut at the Craft Show

Stepping Into the Spotlight: In May 2024, Wick.ed Aromas made its public debut at a local craft show. This event marked a significant milestone as they introduced their creations to the world. The positive reception fueled their drive to keep growing and evolving.

2024: Expanding Our Collection

The Evolution Continues: Over the course of the year, Wick.ed Aromas released multiple new collections, each inspired by the changing seasons and the beauty of nature. Every fragrance was crafted with the same care and attention to detail that had defined their brand from the start.

One-Year Anniversary: A New Home at Wildflowers Armory

A Year to Celebrate: On their one-year anniversary, Mahlon and Shannon celebrated another major achievement—securing a spot in Wildflowers Armory. This accomplishment marked the growth of Wick.ed Aromas from a humble startup to a brand with a dedicated following.
